Trench Jacks

Trench jacks are used as cross supports in conjunction with timber shoring and sit on top of timber walers that run horizontally along a trench. Shore Hire has trench jacks at sizes H0 through to H4 available.

With many modern shoring systems available timber shoring is not often used yet can still be essential where access is limited or cross services present problems with other shoring methods. Timber shoring can also can reduce site labour and erection times due to the simple nature of the materials and installation and small risk of delays. Trench jacks are an essential component of this system.

Shore Hire’s trench jacks have been used in projects including at Cronulla where cross services posed difficulties with other shoring methods.
