Lilli Pilli

The Situation

A construction contractor requested that Shore Hire provide two types of temporary support during the renovation of a large residence in Lilli Pilli, NSW. The removal of a wall and replacement with an RSJ beam required a propping solution for both floor and roof support.

The Solution

Shore Hire used its highly versatile acrow props and Shore 400 system to meet the customer’s propping requirements. Acrow props supported the room while the wall was removed and replaced with a beam, while under the floor Shore Hire used the Shore 400 system as a propping solution.

The Result

With floor and roof adequately propped, an RSJ beam was installed to open up this part of the residence. The portability and ease of installation of both systems enabled quick delivery, assembly and disassembly, contributing to an on-time job completion.
