A multi-storey construction project in the Sydney CBD required back propping of multiple floors during construction, with extended ceiling heights presenting various propping challenges.
Shore Hire supplied and installed a series of multi props on each floor. Multi props fitted the bill for this project – they are lightweight, transportable, easy to assemble, with high-load-bearing capacity and the ability to extend up to 6.25m, easily accounting for the feature ceiling levels in this project. With cheaper steel tube alternatives not up to scratch, Shore Hire’s solution exceeded the customer’s requirements.
Shore Hire’s multi prop solution ensured the back propping installation was completed efficiently. With multiple props required to be grouped together to meet load-bearing requirements, their portability and ease of assembly became important assets on this project and ensured a timely installation.
